Initial S Hand Single use instrumentation kit for hand
The Initial S™ single use sterile kits consist of a set of instruments or a set of instruments and implants (washers) to be used only in trauma or orthopaedic surgery, when Newclip Technics screws for osteosynthesis are fitted. Implants of the Stand-Alone Screws range are intended for fractures fixation, osteotomies and arthrodeses of bones in adults, appropriate for the size of the device.
Newclip Technics has developed single use instrumentation kits for the insertion of sterile* screws for the hand in order to facilitate the management of sterilisation and operating theatre stocks: Initial S Hand.
Today, Initial S Hand proposes 3 individual instrumentation kits for cannulated self-compressive screws (Ø2.25mm, Ø2.6mm and Ø3.0mm).
*The screws are not available in the Initial S Hand kit, they are available separately in a sterile version (S-box).

Kits for Ø2.25, Ø2.6 and Ø3.0 mm cannulated self-compressive screws
Initial S Hand is the single use kit for cannulated screws including a quick coupling drill bit, a double guide, a 3-in-1 instrument, a handle and pins. There are 3 kits available:
- Kit for Ø2.25 mm cannulated screws
- For Ø2.25 mm self-compressive, Ø0.9 mm cannulated screws, short thread (length 14 to 34 mm)
- Kit for Ø2.6 mm cannulated screws
- For Ø2.6 mm self-compressive, Ø1.1 mm cannulated screws, short thread (length 14 to 34 mm)
- Kit for Ø3.0 mm cannulated screws
- For Ø3.0 mm self-compressive, Ø1.1 mm cannulated screws, short thread (length 14 to 34 mm)
