Our ONE range products.
The ONE solution is a range of patient-specific cutting guides designed to assist surgeons in 2D and 3D planning.
The ONE solution was initiated by a 2014 thesis on “Preoperative planning for osteotomies around the knee: From a three-dimensional digital model to the industrialization of patient-specific guides.” It was driven by the renewed interest of orthopedic surgeons in valgus tibial osteotomy. The goal of this research was to understand the challenges of this surgery to enhance operative safety.
The close collaboration established with expert surgeons in this indication gave rise to this division. The ONE solution was thus launched in 2017 for knee osteotomies before expanding its service to other anatomical sites, both in the lower and upper limbs.
Advantages of the ONE solution.

PRECISION
The ONE solution optimizes the precision of :
- The positioning of the cutting plane
- The correction in the 3 planes
- The positioning of the plate
SAFETY
The ONE solution protects :
- The hinge, particularly for lower limb osteotomies
- The soft tissues, such as the patellar tendon, during tibia osteotomies

REDUCED OPERATING TIME
The ONE solution helps reduce operative time once the learning curve is achieved, thanks to:
- The preoperative planning of the correction, positioning, and plate
- The guiding when drilling the plate holes
- The predetermined screw lengths
All surgical steps are outlined in a surgical technique provided with the cutting guide.
FEWER X-RAYS
The ONE solution helps reduce the number of intraoperative fluoroscopy images:
- Two X-ray shots to check guide positioning
- ONE optional X-ray to assess cut depth
- Two intraoperative X-rays to confirm final implant positioning

ADAPTABLE
The ONE solution offers surgeons the benefits a certain number of options :
- Patient-specific wedge
- Ligamentoplasty guide
- TTA transposition guides
- Femoral head cutting guide
- Iliac graft cutting guide
- Bone substitute cutting guide
- 3D printed preoperative bone
- 3D printed postoperative bone
The ONE Timeline.

To order a patient-specific guide, a request must be made via the booking platform. The following information must be entered to create a case:
- A scanner that complies with Newclip Technics protocol
- The side to be operated on
- The type of surgery
The following information must be sent at a later stage: :
- The correction to be applied
- The date of the surgery
- The desired plate
- The requested options
The ONE solution was initiated by a 2014 thesis on “Preoperative planning for osteotomies around the knee: From a three-dimensional digital model to the industrialization of patient-specific guides.” It was driven by the renewed interest of orthopedic surgeons in valgus tibial osteotomy. The goal of this research was to understand the challenges of this surgery to enhance operative safety.

Once submitted, the case is reviewed by the Patient Specific department to verify compliance with the Newclip Technics protocol:
- The patient data from the scanner complies with the data recorded on the request
- The DICOM format of the scanner
- The quality of the scanner
- The thicknesses of the cuts

Once the case is accepted, you will receive a first simulation file (measurements and/or simulation of the correction).
You must then validate it or request a modification to :
- The position of the cutting plane
- The correction in the 3 planes
- The positioning of the plate
- The choice of plate
- The different options requested
The close collaboration established with expert surgeons in this indication gave rise to this division. The ONE solution was thus launched in 2017 for knee osteotomies before expanding its service to other anatomical sites, both in the lower and upper limbs.

When you validate the simulation file, the team can then design the patient-specific guide and the associated options. It will be printed, cleaned, and packaged, then sent non-sterile.

On the day of the surgery you will have at your disposal :
- The standard kit containing the necessary plate
- The guide, adapted to the patient
- The requested options
- The standard instruments to be used with the patient-specific guide
- The surgical technical file (sent at the same time as the equipment)
- Surgical assistance (if desired)
