The implants from the Activmotion S line are dedicated to adult knee osteotomies.
For over 20 years, Newclip Technics has been involved in the development of osteosynthesis solutions dedicated to osteotomies around the adult knee.
The Activmotion S line, developed in collaboration with our experts, embodies this latest generation. It offers an exhaustive range of anatomical plates to maintain bone corrections achieved through opening, closing, or derotation osteotomies, on both the tibia and femur.
This conservative surgery realigns the leg axis, thereby transferring mechanical stress from damaged areas of the joint (cartilage wear) to the healthy compartment of the knee. The damaged cartilage is thus better preserved, allowing the postponement of prosthesis implantation.
That is why, at Newclip, we believe that a single plate model cannot fit all patients or all needs! We therefore offer several implant sizes per plate family, as well as designs adapted to the nature of the intervention, such as for osteotomies combined with ligamentoplasties (reconstruction of the cruciate ligaments), slope correction osteotomies (deflexion), or axial plane correction osteotomies (derotation).
The design of these implants, as well as their positioning, have been specifically studied according to the types of forces exerted on the knee, to provide you with implants of appropriate dimensions.

Knee alignment.

- Treatment of varus deformities
- Medial opening osteotomies of the proximal tibia
- Valgus osteotomies
- Anteromedial positioning:
- Screw positioning to support lateral stress
- Limitation of rotation of the distal tibial fragment and risk of lateral hinge fracture
- Limitation of screw lever arm effect (shorter screws working in the direction of knee rollback)
Size 1 allows for monoplanar osteotomies up to 12 mm of correction.
Size 2 is particularly suited for biplanar cuts and ascending cuts.

- Treatment of varus deformities
- Medial opening osteotomies of the proximal tibia
- Valgus osteotomies combined with knee ligamentoplasty
- Anteromedial positioning
- Inverted shape to create a ligamentoplasty tunnel
- Locked polyaxial post, located in the proximal part to avoid the tunnel and prevent damage to the ligament graft
This anatomical plate is also available with a space directly on the plate to position a rectangular suture button, either non-metallic or titanium, to assist in ACL reconstruction.

- Available in two sizes
- Treatment of varus deformities
- Lateral closing osteotomies of the proximal tibia
- Valgus osteotomies
Equipped with an oblong ramped post to allow axial compression of the osteotomy.

- Medial closing osteotomies of the proximal tibia
- Varus osteotomies
Size 2 is particularly suited for biplanar and/or oblique cuts.
Available in 2 sizes.
Equipped with an oblong ramped compression post, allowing compression of the osteotomy.

Two designs adapted to different techniques:
- Short plate for supra- and trans-tuberosity techniques
- Longer plate for the infra-tuberosity technique
1 central polyaxial screw to avoid the ACL tunnel and any conflict with the osteotomy cut.
Screw orientation designed to support the medial and lateral plateau.
Oblong ramped compression post to compress the osteotomy.

- Treatment of valgus deformities
- Lateral opening osteotomies of the distal femur
- Varization osteotomies
- Its two offset screws on each side of the osteotomy site improve the mechanical characteristics of the construct and prevent angular losses
- Its locked polyaxial hole, located in the distal part, allows the intercondylar fossa to be avoided, if necessary.

Designed for femoral closing osteotomies as well as femoral derotation.
A hinge screw integrated directly through the plate and going to the opposite cortex in order to stabilize the osteotomy.
Equipped with a ramp oblong compression hole to optimize the compression of the osteotomy

Key strengths of Activmotion S.
- A wide range of plates designed for different knee osteotomy techniques
- Anteromedial positioning of the tibial opening plates to be as close as possible to the lateral constraint while limiting the internal rotation of the distal fragment of the tibia, thus preserving the hinge.
- Optimized implant sizing and size
- Instrumentation contributing to osteotomy precision and safety
- Dedicated solutions for preserving the bone hinge, during the cut and then performing the correction, as well as at the end of the osteotomy.
- Implants compatible with each other for performing double osteotomies
- An optimized, patented and easy-to-use fixation system
Our INITIAL K solution for the hinge.

The ONE Platform.

ONE is the patient-specific correction guide solution designed to assist you in the 2D and 3D planning of your surgeries, as well as in performing your osteotomies. The manufacturing of our patient-specific cutting guides is the result of close collaboration between surgeons and Newclip Technics, to best meet surgical needs and support the surgeon throughout every step. These solutions are developed based on clinical imaging data to optimize anatomical congruence between the implant and bone tissue.
