The CalcanHeal range has been designed to address the challenges of osteosynthesis of calcaneal fractures.
Two different approaches are covered: a first design to treat fractures via the extensile lateral approach (offering a design covering the entire lateral face of the calcaneus), and a second design designed for reduced and minimally invasive approaches in the sinus tarsi. An external guide was thus developed specifically for the sinus tarsi approach, allowing the plate to be navigated under the skin.

fractures. This range of implants has an external drill guide to enable percutaneous screw placement using a minimally invasive approach.
The holes in the four plates are compatible with locking and non-locking polyaxial screws, available in two diameters: Ø2.8 mm and Ø3.5 mm.
