The implants in the INITIAL F range are designed for arthrodesis, fixation of fractures and osteotomies, and revision surgeries of the foot in adults.
Within its Footmotion Plating System range, Newclip Technics offers a wide range of Lapidus arthrodesis solutions adapted to the various surgical philosophies associated with this indication.
By combining the expertise of Lapidus arthrodesis plates with its know-how in single-use sterile kits, Newclip Technics has developed INITIAL F MTP to facilitate patient flow management and reduce the time it takes for them to be treated in the operating room.
The INITIAL F Lapidus range currently has single-use 6 kits: 3 plate sizes for the right and left sides.
Each kit comprises two blisters with a plate size, its associated screws and its dedicated instruments.
Ready when you are!
Our sterile solution: INITIAL F LAPIDUS.
INITIAL F Lapidus kits comprise two blisters:
- The first for the plate implantation. It includes a plate, screws (locking and non-locking), pins, 2-in-1 device (T8 screwdriver and countersink), quick-coupling handle, length gauge, quick-coupling drill bit, threaded guide gauge, and guide gauge handle.
- The second for the insertion of a compression screw at the osteotomy site* (Ø4.0 mm with head): it includes an AO quick-coupling drill bit, pins, 2-in-1 device, and differential gauge for pin.
These 6 kits are available in 3 volar plate sizes for the right and left sides.
These plates allow dynamic compression of the osteotomy site.
They have a transfixing screw for compression between the 1st metatarsal and the 1st cuneiform. This screw has a polyaxiality of 35°.
These plates have been designed to offer great flexibility with the choice of material: grade 2 titanium.
*The compression screws are not available in the Initial F Lapidus kit; they are available separately in sterile single-unit packaging (S-box).
Why choose the Initial F LAPIDUS range?
- Transfixing screw integrated into the plate for stabilizing the construct with a polyaxiality of 35°
- 2-in-1 device for greater ease of use: T8 screwdriver and countersink
- Two blisters combined in one single-use kit
- Limits the risks of infection and cross-contamination
- Eliminates cleaning, decontamination and sterilization costs (cost-effective solution)
- Guarantees the traceability of implants
- Saves time in the operating room as it is ready to use
- Optimizes storage space within the operating room
