INITIAL R XPERT 2
.
4 – Fragment Specific

Kit stérile à usage unique pour le radius et l'ulna distal.

The implants of the INITIAL R XPERT 2.4 range are designed for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies, and arthrodeses of the hand and forearm in adults.

Wrist fractures are among the most common fractures of the upper limb. To address the different types of fractures, Newclip Technics has developed the Xpert Wrist range. By combining the Xpert Wrist implant offering with its expertise in single-use sterile kits, Newclip has created INITIAL R XPERT 2.4 to provide an appropriate solution for the emergency management of the most frequent wrist fractures.

For specific fracture fragments, two distinct and ready-to-use kits are available: one dedicated to instrumentation and one dedicated to implants, including screws and a single plate size. More broadly, these kits are available in seven implant sizes designed for specific fragments, enabling the treatment of more complex fractures of the distal radius and ulna.

These solutions allow surgeons and healthcare professionals to reduce patient management times. As a result, patient turnover in the operating room becomes more efficient, contributing to optimized use of surgical facilities.

The INITIAL R XPERT 2.4 – Fragment Specific kits include implants and instrumentation for wrist fractures.

The instrumentation kit includes a holding screwdriver, a length gauge, a quick-release drill bit, a threaded guide gauge, a polyaxial drilling guide, and K-wires. The implant kit includes one plate size and Ø2.4 mm screws (locked and non-locked).

This solution offers :

  • Extra-narrow dorsomedial plate kits, size 2, asymmetric
  • Dorsomedial plate kits, size 2, asymmetric
  • Dorsolateral plate kits, size 2, asymmetric
  • Radial column plate kits, size 2, asymmetric
  • Laterodorsal radial column plate kits, size 2, asymmetric
  • Distal ulna plate kits, size 1, asymmetric
  • Distal ulna plate kits, size 2, asymmetric

A dedicated implant range has been designed to treat complex distal radius fractures, fragment by fragment:

  • Dorsomedial plates (1 extra-narrow head size and 1 standard head size)
  • Radial column plates (1 size)
  • Dorsolateral plates (1 size)
  • Laterodorsal radial column plates (1 size)
FRAGMENT SPECIFIC PLATES – DISTAL ULNA

The distal ulna plates are available in 2 sizes and provide a treatment solution for fractures of the distal ulna head, neck, and diaphysis:

  • Pre-contoured plates for anatomical fit
  • Polyaxial or monoaxial locking screw technology
  • Patented oblong locking peg technology
  • Anterolateral positioning ensured by an anterior tab
  • Hook facilitating plate positioning on the ulnar styloid
  • Bending zones to achieve the desired fit when needed
