Knee.

Our solutions for elective and trauma knee surgery.

Knee procedures and surgical techniques.

Newclip meets various needs in osteotomy and traumatology with two ranges.

  • Knee osteotomies (valgisation, varisation, derotation, slope correction), used in the treatment of early-stage osteoarthritis, are known as joint-preserving surgical techniques, as opposed to prosthetic surgery techniques (total or unicompartmental knee replacement),when knee osteoarthritis is due to a misalignment of the lower limb. This joint-preserving surgery allows the realignment of the leg axis, thus transferring the mechanical load from the damaged areas of the joint (cartilage wear) to the healthy compartment of the knee. Damaged cartilage is better preserved, which helps delay the need for prosthetic implantation. For over 20 years, Newclip Technics has been committed to joint preservation by offering dedicated solutions for achieving and maintaining angular corrections of the lower limb, particularly in the treatment of varus and valgus knees, as well as rotational or tibial slope issues. Our offer includes reusable instrumentation, single-use kits, and patient-specific cutting guides, contributing to the safety and precision of the surgical procedure. Newclip Technics makes bone alignment its top priority for the joint preservation of the knee.
  • With its Xpert Knee range, Newclip provides a 360° approach to managing tibial plateau fractures according to the three-column classification, which is based on CT reconstructions to analyze the fracture geometry. This classification divides the proximal tibial plateau into three segments — medial, lateral, and posterior — and categorizes fractures based on the number of columns involved (one, two, or three).
    • To address the specificities of each configuration, the range offers five distinct plate models, each designed to fit a specific anatomical area.

Newclip Technics leverages its expertise to develop high-quality implants tailored to the complexities of tibial plateau fractures. Each plate in the Xpert Knee range is the result of extensive research in collaboration with trauma specialists, aimed at optimizing bone stabilization.

ACTIVMOTION S

Activmotion S

The Activmotion S range offers a complete range of latest-generation anatomical plates, to maintain the bone corrections obtained by opening and closing osteotomy, on the tibia as well as on the femur in the different spatial planes.

Xpert Knee

Xpert Knee offers a wide range of anatomical plates for the treatment of tibial plateau fractures. Posterolateral, posteromedial, and posterior fractures are particularly challenging to manage. That’s why Xpert Knee has developed five specific models dedicated to these fracture types.

Our INITIAL solution for the knee.

INITIAL K – Hinge Screw

The strength of the bone hinge plays a major role in the primary stabilization of the osteotomy and then in the bone consolidation process.

This is why a range of cannulated and compressive screws has been specifically designed to reinforce the mechanical strength and compression of this bone hinge if necessary. The INITIAL K – Hinge Screw solution is therefore used in addition to the placement of a plate from the Activmotion S range.

The INITIAL K – Hinge Screw solution is also associated with complete sterile and single-use instrumentation: Ready when you are!

The ONE Solution.

PSI GENOU

ONE is the patient-specific correction guide developed to support you in both 2D and 3D surgical planning, as well as for performing osteotomies. The production of our patient-specific cutting guides is the result of close collaboration between surgeons and Newclip Technics, to best meet surgical needs and support the surgeon in each procedure. These solutions are developed based on clinical imaging data, to optimize the anatomical congruence between the material and the bone tissue.
