Alians Elbow S Your implant solution for traumatic elbow surgery
OPTIMISE THE MANAGEMENT : OF ELBOW FRACTURES AND OSTEOTOMIES
Perpendicular construct
Parallel construct
Y-shaped plates
Olecranon plates
To handle intra-articular fractures with perpendicular (90°) mounting, combine :
- Medial plate (symmetrical, 4 sizes)
- Medial position
- Medio-lateral orientation of distal screws
- Posterolateral plate (asymmetrical, 5 sizes) with removable lateral extension for a reinforced mounting and a support of the lateral column if required
- Dorsal position
- Posteroanterior and lateromedial orientation of distal screws
To handle intra-articular fractures with parallel (180°) mounting, combine :
- Medial plate (symmetrical, 4 sizes)
- Medial position
- Medio-lateral orientation of distal screws
- Lateral plate (asymmetrical, 5 sizes)
- Lateral position
- Latero-medial orientation of distal screws
The Y-shaped plates in our Alians Elbow S range have been designed to accommodate supracondylar (or extra-articular) fractures, while retaining support for the medial and lateral columns. The distal medial branch is removable if patient anatomy requires so.
The characteristics of these plates are as follows:
- Symmetrical narrow plate (1 size)
- Asymmetrical standard plates (3 sizes)
- Reduced width and thickness of each implant at the tip of the olecranon
- Each plate has hooks that fit over the olecranon.
- Ø2.8 mm polyaxial locking screws in the epiphyseal zone (olecranon, coronoid) and Ø3.5 mm monoaxial locking screws in the diaphyseal zone.
- A transfixing screw oriented towards the base of the coronoid and passing through the fracture site to improve stability and/or provide compression.
