Plates for fixation of ankle fractures
The Activ Ankle range is intended for the fixation of fractures, osteotomies and pseudarthroses of the distal and diaphyseal fibula, the distal tibia and for the syndesmotic repair in adults.
Activ Ankle is the solution for trauma treatment of medial malleolus and lateral malleolus as wells as diaphyseal fractures of the fibula. The plates are easy to bend and can therefore be adapted to a great number of fractures, while enabling early weight-bearing for the patient, in certain specific cases.

Activ Ankle offers 5 standard sizes of distal fibular plates for use via a lateral approach.These implants can, if necessary, receive a syndesmosis screw.
The distal screws are locking, polyaxial and diam2.8mm, while the proximal screw are diam3.5mm, locking and non-locking.
Bending areas also facilitate congruence of the plate to the bone, especially on the diaphyseal portion, which presents a great anatomical variability from one patient to another.
Activ Ankle also offers 2 sizes of narrow lateral distal fibular fracture plates for use via a lateral approach and can, if required, accommodate a syndesmosis screw.
Their distal screws are locking, polyaxial and Ø2.8mm, while their proximal screws are Ø3.5mm, locking or not.
Bending areas facilitate congruence of the plate to the bone, especially in the diaphyseal area, which has a high degree of anatomical variability from patient to patient.
Activ Ankle also offers 3 sizes of plates for the treatment of distal fibular fractures using a posterolateral approach, and can receive, if necessary, a syndesmosis screw.
Their distal screws are locking, polyaxial and Ø2.8mm, while their proximal screws are Ø3.5mm, lockable or not.
It accepts both locking and non-locking screws of Ø3.5 mm.
The range of medial malleolus plates includes a standard plate and a hook plate.
The plates and instruments for Activ Ankle Medial Malleolus are not provided in the main Activ Ankle kit.
Preliminary reduction of the fracture as well as fixation of the medial malleolus can be achieved by the use of an osteosynthesis screw. Cortical screw Ø3.5 mm, cannulated screws Ø4.0 mm or screws Ø4.0 mm are included in the kit.
